Thanks for the opportunity to continue to build on this fantastic campaign for this important product!

Here is our updated treatment for “Love Of A Lifetime”video. This will be shot at same time as other spots from P2 Pitch.

We are leading with this idea because we have done music videos for 20 years (Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Rocket Club, Etc.) and often this genre is a great way to get your work to look really cool and stand out and draw interest for a more targeted demographic and psychographic.

Also, it capitalizes on the EDGY COMEDY STYLE Hawk has cultivated for years on the KFAN POWER TRIP MORNING SHOW.

But we WILL shoot it in such a way that we can cut 2 versions:

One version that HAWK’S edgy fans will love.

and

One version that my Mom’s church group will love.

 

SPOT #4 - “LOVE OF A LIFETIME

THIS WOULD BE A LONGER FORM MUSIC VIDEO AD 1:30 seconds (Maybe some cut downs - we might not need them tho) but mostly used on Socials and Paid advertising.

We license Firehouse - Love Of A Lifetime (We have a ballpark quote from label and they like the idea)

The messaging is perfect and I actually really do like this song! See edit version below.

This video is packaged in the same visual blue screen style as the other Phase 2 videos with combination of live action 80’s esque studio footage and Blue Screen with EHD graphics.

We see (real life Hawk) looking longingly off screen. He is wearing a long 80’s hair band wig and clothing. As the sappy love music plays, he strums his guitar.

Suddenly HAWK begins to lip sync key lines from the song.

“I guess the time was right for us to say… we take our time and live our lives… together Day by Day”  

We reveal the Hawkey Band playing the song in in the background as Hawk continues to lip sync. All of them are also in 80 hair metal band wigs and clothing with sweet 80’s guitar and instruments.

We see an attractive woman similar to the style of the actual music video. Hawk continues to sing the heartfelt lyrics as if he was singing to the attractive woman.

“Still We both know that the ROAD is long. We know that we will be together, because our love is strong”

We can play up this LONG ROAD lyric with a visual tie in to roads and fuel stations.

As the music swells, we see Hawk running in super slow motion. We then see a UNL 88 Mascot outfit running in super slow motion and knocking the attractive woman out of the way.

Hawk and the UNL 88 mascot collide an epic crescendo in the center of the screen and spin around in a cinematic loving embrace.

The background features animated EHD illustrated elements and TEXT that support all the feature benefit reasons of WHY HAWK LOVES UNLEADED 88!!!

 

“LOWER COST, HIGHER OCTANE”

“MORE POWER, LESS EMISSIONS” 



As the music reaches a passionate crescendo DOLLAR BILLS and MONEY COINS with confetti explodes up as balloons fall down and and Hawk and the UNL 88 Pump Mascot spin around in a their loving embrace as the blizzard of MONEY SAVING chaos ensues.  

CUT TO:

“UNLEADED 88 - Better for Your Air. Your Engine & Your wallet!”

Hawk carries the UNL 88 Fuel Pump Mascot off into an Eight Hour Day Illustrated sunset to live happily ever after.

We end with the call to action to visit the website. 

EHD can create all the NEW art assets needed such as “THE SUNSET” and The Feature Benefit TEXT and backgrounds in only 1 or 2 illustrations.

This may sound ridiculous but that’s the whole point and will work perfectly with Hawks music background and fits with the kind of humor of why HAWK’S FANS LOVE HIM and very likely why HE HAS ONE OF THE TOP MORNING RADIO shows in the world!!

We also think it taps into a nostalgia and humor for those who know the song but it’s a great song with a perfect message for those not familair.



This mascot gag has certainly been done before but it is ALWAYS very funny and effective and MCGA could keep all the Mascot costumes for event promotion for years to come.

IF ANYONE IS WORRIED ABOUT HAWK’S BUY-IN WE WILL CERTAINLY NEED TO MAKE SURE HE IS EXCITED ABOUT THE IDEA BUT HAWK IS REALLY FUNNY AND DOWN TO DO ALMOST ANYTHING! AS EVIDENCED ABOVE.
